A rights-based approach in EECEC
We welcome educators to explore ethical approaches in early childhood education and care through a rights-based lens. Drawing on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, participants will explore how children’s rights shape everyday practice, influencing participation, inclusion, behaviour guidance and professional decision-making, and how this perspective can be meaningfully embedded into curriculum and practice to promote equity, belonging and respect for all children.
