Gearing up for group time success
Let’s be honest...sometimes planned group times with children can be a tricky time of the day! Trying to transition children from play time to mat time, keeping them engaged and managing behaviours can, at times, make for unsuccessful group dynamics and struggles for educators. How can we address the needs of children while implementing our programmed group time? What steps can educators take to ensure successful learning and engagement for children? This session will look at how to plan for and implement group times that engage children, address challenges and provide opportunities for reflection on educator practice and inclusion of all children.
